From 12th - 20th October, Hidden will be teaming up with Ad Lib Gallery in Wimbledon to showcase the dynamic and diverse world of British printmaking.
Throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, British artists have embraced printmaking as a powerful form of artistic expression. This October, we celebrate the vibrant legacy of British print with a collection of original works by some of the most renowned artists of our time. Tracey Emin's evocative lines, David Hockney's innovative perspectives, L. S. Lowry's iconic urban landscapes, Victor Pasmore's lyrical abstracts, Howard Hodgkin's jewel-like colours and Henry Moore's fabulous distortions of the human form will all be featured in this extraordinary exhibition, to name just a few.
These artists each expanded the creative possibilities of printmaking, creating works that stand proudly alongside their most celebrated pieces in other media.
