From the 17th - 30th June, Hidden Gallery Bristol will be showcasing an array of original works on paper by luminaries of the 20th century, including Matisse, Léger, Miró, Chagall, Magritte, Picasso and Munch.
Throughout the 20th century, these artists found endless inspiration in the vibrant atmosphere of the City of Light, with its rich tapestry of artistic, intellectual, and bohemian life. As Marc Chagall succinctly remarked, “an artist has no home in Europe except in Paris”.
"Made in Paris" will showcase original etchings, lithographs, and exhibition posters created in some of the most acclaimed ateliers of the time. Visit us for a rare glimpse into the innovative spirit that defined an era.
