The Hidden Gallery Brighton team are thrilled to present Spectrum: a celebration of colour in Modern and Contemporary Art! From teal-blue taxis and cherry-red rock, to the rainbow illuminations of the Palace Pier, Brighton isn’t Brighton without colour. In honour of our technicolour home, therefore, we will be adorning our walls with the works of the 20th and 21st centuries’ greatest masters of colour.
The last 100 years has seen a multitude of fascinating developments in the technical possibilities of printmaking, allowing artists to experiment with palettes they once only dreamed of. At Hidden, we are proud to hold an outstanding portfolio of original works by many of this period’s most prominent players, and wecan’t wait to bring their most colourful creations to Brighton this July!
