The Twelve Lithographs suite (1969) was Barbara Hepworth’s first major venture into printmaking, created in collaboration with master printmaker Stanley Jones at the Curwen Studio. Rather than merely documenting existing sculptures, Hepworth used the lithographic plates to freely experiment with texture, light, and abstract forms.
