Hidden Gallery owned and led by Chris Kendall, is a unique destination for art enthusiasts. A proud Yorkshireman and devoted supporter of Bradford City, Chris's career began in 1978 when he left the picturesque Lake District, to join the Royal Air Force. Following his service, he began his transition to the art world by leading the collectables division at Stanley Gibbons later working at The Institute of Physics driving early adoption of the Internet. Chris went on to lead The Planning Portal for the then Department of Communities and Local Government for more than a decade, winning national recognition and awards.
During his time at Stanley Gibbons, Chris became a familiar voice on the Robbie Vincent show at LBC, where he provided live advice to listeners about the value of their autographs and collectibles. His expertise has also been showcased on various television and radio programs, including a recent Radio 4 documentary focused on unfinished artworks and a forthcoming BBC art-based reality TV show.

Chris's passion for collecting began nearly 40 years ago with a pair of Dali etchings, which sparked a lifelong dedication to art, in particular works on paper. Over the decades, he has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and expertise, culminating in the establishment of Hidden Gallery in 2015.
Chris continues to lead on sourcing at Hidden and when he's not knee deep researching he can often be found at his favourite gallery - Hauser and Wirth in Bruton where he particulaly enjoyed the recent Eduardo Chillida exhibition.
