Howard Hodgkin

A stunning example of Hodgkin's incredible instincts for colour, this piece was produced from a lift-ground etching and aquatint from two copper plates, with carborundum from two aluminium plates printed in six shades of green, with hand colouring in cadmium orange and cadmium yellow acrylic. It was published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
