“For the love of God, what are you going to do next?” These are the words apparently once uttered by Damien Hirst’s mother after previewing some of his latest work. This is a screenprint of the famously extravagant human skull, studded with over 8000 diamonds. The work is a 'memento mori', a reminder of the mortality of the viewer and a subject that has fascinated artists for centuries.
