Hidden Galleries are delighted to share the news of our partnership with WWF and Artwise Curators as part of their ‘Art for your World’ campaign.

WWF has made continuous efforts to stop climate change by halting deforestation, supporting communities, restoring trees and forests, replanting seagrass meadows, protecting endangered species and their habitats, and promoting sustainable lifestyles.   Through art and creativity, ‘Art for your World’ aims to facilitate conversations around climate change and its effects on global wildlife, and further fund the WWF’s vital work.

In 2021, the world-renowned artists Bob and Roberta Smith, Chila Kumari Singh Burman and Heather Phillipson very kindly created three striking prints titled ‘Art for your World’, ‘Fierceness in Scarcity’ and ‘What the Seagrass Says’ respectively.  Each work is offered signed from a limited edition and celebrates the campaign’s incredible aims and achievements thus far.

In support of the campaign, Hidden Gallery held a competition open to children aged 0-17.  To be in with a chance of winning one of the three beautiful ‘Art for your World’ prints, the children were invited to create their own piece inspired by Hidden’s portfolio, but with a climate-themed twist.  We were blown away by the standard of entries we received, and it has been a joy to present the winning artists with their very own work - each of which was framed to conservation standard by the wonderful Hidden Framing team.  The themes explored by the children included plastic in the ocean, global warming and deforestation - making it strikingly transparent how important WWF’s work is to today’s young people.

The Hidden Team feels incredibly passionate about this crucial campaign, so we are thrilled to share that we will be offering the works for sale via our galleries and website, with proceeds from each sale going to further support the WWF’s indispensable work.  To be the first to hear about the release of the works, do sign up to our newsletter, or contact hello@hiddengallery for more information.
