The finished book - "1 Cent Life" - contained 170 lithograph pages and was finally published in an edition of 2000 copies in 1964. It is now very rare, with most of the individual prints broken up from the set. These images are a compact manifesto of 1960s visual culture: bright, psychedelic and fizzing with energy. They offer collectors the opportunity to acquire work from one of the most important art publications of the decade by artists working at the peak of their creative powers.
"1 Cent Life" was the most significant artist's book produced in 1964. A now legendary publication, it is extremely hard to find in its original form and the prints within it represent the pinnacle of Pop. The rarity, artistic integrity and sheer sense of fun imbued in each image will ensure their continued desirability for many years to come.
