A pair of very rare deckchairs made of Merpauh timber and with a digital print of Hirst iconic butterflies printed on sail cloth.
Each chair bears an aluminium plaque screwed to the frame, with Damien Hirst facsimile signature and trademarks.
Apart from their rich association with childhood, butterflies are symbols of freedom, the embodiment of living life to the full. Butterflies represent escape – and death (something of an obsession for Hirst) is the ultimate release.
Why is this rare?
With just 250 in the limited edition, these deckchairs are extremely difficult to come by.
(We think they look great framed too!)
