To accompany his landmark show The Most Popular Art Exhibition Ever!, held at the Serpentine Gallery in 2017, Perry created this limited edition handmade appliqué flag. It was inspired by Asafo flags, which presented visual representations of military companies, especially among the Fante people in present-day Ghana, from the 18th century onwards. A devoted fan of motorcycling, Perry designed this flag for an imaginary motorcycle gang.
