Possibly the most pertinent British artist of the last four years, Grayson Perry's stock has risen to the extent where he is not only instantly recognisable on the street, but his artistic style and voice have seeped into the public consciousness. Where once a drawing of a man in a 'gas mask and dress' combination would have puzzled the viewer, it now seems ludicrous for its creator not to be identified as Grayson Perry.
