If you watched Grayson’s Art Club during lockdown back in 2020, you'll recognise this important sculpture right away. Cast in silver, it was Perry's domestic-scale monument to a tumultuous time in human history. Walking past a statue of Samuel Johnson's cat Hodge one evening during lockdown, the artist was inspired. With typical wit and invention, Perry conjured a plague cat covered from head to foot in decorative pustules and boils. Only twelve were ever made.
